Battle of the Bulge - 1944.
At 05:30 on December 16 1944 a massive artillery barrage announced the Battle of the Bulge. German armour has smashed through the front line and threatens Bastogne and Houffalize. Allied forces are rushing troops and Armour to the front.

Allied Briefing:
At 0800 our forward outposts in three sectors were overrun. Tanks and mechanised infantry have broken through the lines East of Manhay, North East of Houffalize and Northeast of Bastogne. New german tanks of a previously unknown type have been spotted and fighting is fierce. These tanks seem to be impervious to our antitank weapons and the front is in entire collapse. Delay and destroy as many of these tanks as possible until our reinforcements can reach the front lines.

Axis Briefing:
At 0800 our panzer forces broke through the enemy lines at three locations, East of Manhay, North East of Houffalize and Northeast of Bastogne. The Allied armies are putting up minimal resistance, but reinforcements are expected to be heading towards front lines to counter our attack. Attrit enemy armour concentrations and reinforcements on their way to the front lines from the rear areas.
